Privacy Policy

MoreDownload is a browser-based tool. All image processing, QR styling, custom artwork uploads, cropping, and PDF generation happens entirely within your web browser using JavaScript, WebAssembly, and local Web Workers. Your images, custom template artwork, photos, and generated files are never uploaded to, processed by, or stored on our servers.

Custom design templates uploaded to the QR generator are saved purely on your device in your browser's IndexedDB. We do not host, store, review, or access your uploaded files. When you clear your browser data or delete a saved design, it is permanently removed from your device.

We do not collect, store, or process: - Your images, photos, or documents - Your generated PDF files - Your camera feed or captured photos - Any biometric or facial recognition data - File contents or metadata from your documents

Account Registration: If you choose to create a free account (via email or Google OAuth), we securely store your email address, unique user ID, and account creation date via our authentication infrastructure. We never receive or store your raw password or external account credentials. Creating an account unlocks unlimited PDF exports across your devices.

Local Storage & Temporary Session: We store your preferred settings in browser localStorage. To prevent loss of work during login or OAuth redirects, your current scan session is temporarily cached in your browser's local IndexedDB. This data stays entirely on your device and is never uploaded to any server.

Contact Form: If you contact us, we collect your name, email, and message solely to respond to your inquiry.

MoreDownload uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage tokens: - Authentication cookies: Secure, encrypted session tokens to keep you logged in to your account. - Trial fair-use cookie: An anonymous, signed cookie (md_anon_trial) and local counter used exclusively to track the 2 free guest scan exports. - Language preference: To remember your chosen interface language.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your documents and images are never uploaded or stored in cookies.

MoreDownload does not share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Any third-party services used (such as email delivery for the contact form) process only the data necessary for their function and are bound by their own privacy policies.

Because your files are processed locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers, the primary security of your documents depends on your own device security. We implement standard web security measures (HTTPS, security headers, content security policies) to protect the website itself.

MoreDownload does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The tool itself processes no personal data beyond the optional contact form.

Since we process minimal personal data (only from the contact form), you have the right to: - Request access to any personal data we hold about you - Request deletion of your contact form submissions - Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time - Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@moredownload.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of MoreDownload after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
